Lisa Villarreal has extensive experience in nonprofit governance and leadership, serving on various boards and advisory committees since 2000. Currently, Lisa serves on the Board of Directors for the National Equity Project, as well as being a Board Member for Safe & Sound and the Partnership for Children and Youth. Additionally, Lisa holds advisory roles with Attendance Works National Organization and the San Francisco Exploratorium Education Advisory Board. Previously, Lisa was the CEO of Youth Ventures Joint Powers Authority for Oakland and held positions on the National Coalition for Community Schools and The Foundation Center Advisory Board. With a background as a Program Officer at The San Francisco Foundation and active participation in Northern California Grantmakers, Lisa has dedicated over two decades to enhancing community resources and support for youth.
