Safe Passages 501(c)(3) is an inter-governmental partnership including the City of Oakland, the County of Alameda, the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD), philanthropy and community-based partners that is committed to advocating for children, youth, and families with a special emphasis on vulnerable populations within the County of Alameda.

The Education and Instruction Team at Safe Passages is dedicated to providing high-quality educational support and enrichment to vulnerable children and youth in Alameda County. This team includes Academic Instructors, Early Childhood Instructors, AmeriCorps Academic Intervention Specialists, and Enrichment Instructors who collaboratively design and implement instructional programs, early childhood education, academic intervention, and enrichment activities to foster academic success and holistic development.
