Elizabeth Matthews is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community development and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Community Development at Sacred Heart Community Service, Elizabeth previously held leadership positions such as Director of Development at HomeFirst Services of Santa Clara County and at San Jose State University’s Connie L. Lurie College of Education. With a strong background in campaign management at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Elizabeth led initiatives such as the Man & Woman of the Year campaign. Other notable roles include Community Engagement Manager at the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, where significant fundraising accomplishments were achieved, and Manager of The Young Philanthropist Society at United Way of Southern Nevada, where membership and fundraising grew substantially. Elizabeth holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Arizona State University.
