Ananya Srinivas is an accomplished Air Quality Engineer currently working at the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District since September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as an Engineering Peer Advisor at the UC Davis Internship and Career Center and as an Upper Division Engineering Tutor at the UC Davis Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, where mentorship was provided to students in Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer. Ananya has also completed an internship as a Process Engineering Intern at Applied Materials, focusing on semiconductor manufacturing efficiency, and worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Department of Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis, developing a catalyst adsorption column to capture carbon dioxide. Earlier experience includes a role as a Chemical Lab Technician at Fremont Unified School District, ensuring proper lab safety protocols while supervising students. Ananya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
