Sophia Gonzalez is currently serving as a Diversity Peer Educator at Institutional Diversity, Equity, Advocacy and Leadership and as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Temple Student Government since May 2024. Previous experience includes working as a Hostess at Sabrina's Cafe from September 2023 to March 2024, and as a Digital Fellow for Tom Malinowski for Congress from May 2022 to August 2022, where Sophia promoted youth engagement and managed social media initiatives. Additionally, Sophia gained experience as a Fellow focused on canvassing and voter outreach, and completed an internship with the Morris County Democratic Committee in April 2022. Prior to this, employment as a Fast Food Cashier/Waitress at Tito's Burritos & Wings occurred from June 2021 to March 2022. Sophia is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government at Temple University, with an upcoming academic experience at Temple University Japan. Educational background includes a High School Diploma from Morristown High School, graduated in June 2022.
