Luis Rivera began their career in 2014 as a .Net Full Stack Web Developer for Sabio.la, where they utilized Visual Studio 2013, C#, .Net 4.5, MVC 5, and WebAPI 2. Later that year, they were a winner of the 3rd Place Prize for the Hackathon TechWeek LA for their project One 2 Many. In 2015, they joined A-Check Global as a Jr. Developer.

Luis Rivera has an Associates of Arts in Music from Riverside City College.
