Juan Antonio Mateos Rueda is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Engineer at Saber.tech since November 2023, Juan has previously held significant roles such as Lead Consultant and Senior Consultant at Thoughtworks from August 2021 to October 2023. Prior experience includes a Technical Architect position at Piksel Inc. (April 2013 - August 2021) where Juan led R&D teams, and key technical lead roles for a British main broadcaster focused on backend REST services. Juan's early career includes positions at KIT digital, Inc., Ingenia, and Stacks, encompassing a range of development technologies and team leadership responsibilities.
