Amadou Barry is an experienced journalist based in Banjul, Gambia, with a career spanning several prominent media roles. Since January 2018, Amadou has served as a journalist with emedia INVEST and concurrently holds a position as a journalist-editorial writer at The Point, where responsibilities include managing the francophone desk and contributing to various media outlets in Gambia. Additionally, Amadou has a background in communication, having worked briefly as a communication officer at Thecogas Biogastechniek BV in Senegal, which specializes in organic waste valorization. Amadou's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Modern Literature and a specialized diploma in Journalism and Communication from Université Cheikh Anta Diop and CESTI, completed between 2010 and 2016.
