Volker Schumacher possesses extensive experience in the engineering and automotive sectors, currently serving as Innovation Manager at SaarGummi Neo since February 2018. Prior to this role, Volker Schumacher was with SaarGummi International for over 13 years, where responsibilities included Global Program Key Account Manager, focusing on major OEMs such as BMW, Ford, and Tesla, as well as Product and Application/Project Manager and Design Engineer, leading development and project launches of sealing systems. Earlier experience includes working as a Design Engineer for various companies, including FEM-Tech and TRW, specializing in safety systems and electronic component integration. Volker Schumacher holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Dipl. Ingenieur) from FH Trier, completed in 1998.
