Dan Doberstein is an accomplished GPS Subject Matter Expert at Saalex Solutions, supporting the GPS and GNSS team at China Lake since March 2020. With a robust background in engineering, Dan retired from the US Navy Pt. Mugu in 2018 after serving as an RF/GPS/Systems Engineer. Previous roles include positions as a consultant for LitePoint, focusing on RF test engineering and product support, and work on new product development in the medical industry with IN-CON. Dan has contributed to GPS receiver integration in UAV systems at MBDA Missile Systems and specialized GPS design at ITT. With extensive experience in systems engineering and RF technology, Dan also served as President of DKD Instruments, where innovative RF and GPS solutions were developed. Dan holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Cal Poly SLO.
