Yvonne Muthien is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in non-executive roles across various sectors, currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at Aspen Pharma Group and the SA SME Fund, as well as an Independent Non-Executive Director at the South African Reserve Bank. Muthien has held the position of Chairperson at Rhodes Food Group, overseeing a diversified food group listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, and has previously served as Chairperson for the Sasol Inzalo Foundation and the Sasol Foundation, both focused on promoting Mathematics, Science, Technology, and Engineering in South Africa. Additionally, Muthien chaired the President's Advisory Council on National Orders, advising four democratic Presidents of South Africa. Muthien's academic credentials include a DPhil in Social Science from the University of Oxford and a Master's in Social Science from Northwestern University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of the Western Cape.
