Paulo Silva has extensive experience in the field of security operations and research, demonstrating a strong professional trajectory. Since January 2019, Paulo has held leadership roles at S21sec, progressing from SOC Manager - Tier 1 to SOC Tier 2 and Tier 3 Team Leader and Service Manager. Prior to this, Paulo worked at IPBRICK SA from May 2016 to January 2019, contributing to technical support and implementation, which enhanced skills in system integration and management. Early research experience includes a position as a Research Fellow at the University of Minho in 2015 and as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, Porto University from December 2009 to December 2015, focusing on glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Cardiovascular Pathophysiology from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto.
