Romain Guigourès is a Senior Data Science Manager at SSENSE, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Romain served as Data Science Manager at Shopify from May 2019 to May 2023, focusing on the Shopify Fulfillment Network and leading multidisciplinary teams in building advanced data solutions to enhance merchant experiences. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Data Scientist - Sizing and Data Scientist at Zalando SE from November 2013 to April 2019, where Romain developed machine learning solutions for customer sizing. Earlier in the career, Romain worked as a Research Assistant and Research Intern at Orange France Télécom's Research and Development, and as a Research Intern at LIPN, Université Paris 13. Romain holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Université Paris 13, and a Master's Degree in Mathematics with a focus on Machine Learning from CY Tech.
