Xinhong started and manages the Silicon Valley office of Vickers Venture Partners, where he leads investments into deep-tech companies and advises on fund strategies and portfolio companies within the life sciences and healthcare sectors.

He is an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) in skin stem cell biology at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University and Skin Research Institute of Singapore, where he has been the lead Principal Investigator on more than $15 million of research grants.

His work has been published and cited in the most prestigious scientific journals such as Nature and Science, and international press, such as CNN and BBC.
