Britta Weber has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Britta is currently working as a Software Engineer at ruumi since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Careem as a Member of Technical Staff from January 2018 to January 2021. Britta also served as the CTO at Bunch.ai from November 2016 to August 2017. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Elastic.co from May 2013 to November 2016. Britta's career began in 2004 at Zuse Institute Berlin, where they held positions as a Scientific Assistant, focusing on the development of software for aligning and segmenting biological structures from volumetric image data, and as a Student Assistant from June 2004 to December 2008.

Britta Weber earned their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart/Alcatel-Lucent in 2003. Britta then pursued their Diploma in Computer Science at Freie Universität Berlin from 2003 to 2008. Following their Diploma, Britta Weber continued their education at Freie Universität Berlin and obtained a Doctor of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) degree in Computer Science in 2015.
