Sarah St. John is a corporate attorney with a focus on a wide range of general corporate law, with an emphasis on corporate finance.
Prior to joining Rutan, Sarah worked at a bankruptcy firm in Irvine, where she represented creditors and debtors in various financial work-out scenarios. Prior to this, she clerked for the Honorable Scott Clarkson, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California in Santa Ana, and then to the Honorable Julia Brand, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District in Los Angeles.
During law school, she served as Editorial Fellow to the Real Estate Review Journal and practiced as a limited license attorney in the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic. During her time at the clinic, she assisted small business owners with entity formation and successfully defended a trademark objection with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
