Justin Merrell has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as a Parts Engineer at Mantaro Product Development Services. Justin then worked at NIST as a Physical Science Trainee before joining Bethesda Systems as a Custom Design and Integration specialist. In 2013, they joined Penn State Altoona's ResTECH team, where they provided network connectivity services to students. Later that year, they also worked as a Research Analyst and STEM Coordinator at the Altoona-Blair County Development Corporation. In 2014, Justin became involved with Catalyst Space, serving as a Director and Co-Founder and later as Chairman of the Board. Justin also worked at HalenHardy, LLC in research and product development. In 2021, Justin co-founded brickbox.io and held the role of Bit Mason. Most recently, they became a Founding Engineer at RunPod in 2022.
Justin Merrell's education history starts with their completion of high school. Justin attended Gaithersburg High School from 2009 to 2012 and obtained their High School Diploma with a focus on Information Technology.
After high school, Justin enrolled at Penn State Altoona from 2012 to 2016. However, they decided to drop out before completing their degree. During their time at Penn State Altoona, they were studying Electromechanical Engineering and Entrepreneurship.
In addition to their formal education, Justin obtained a certification called CompTIA A+ in Depot Technician from CompTIA in April 2010.
