Karin Bäcklund is a seasoned public relations consultant with extensive experience in digital communication and brand visibility. Currently serving as a Public Relations Consultant at Not just Cake since October 2018, Karin has also held significant roles as a board member at RUFF Golf, Kliently, and Bodyflight. As a co-founder of PR-kollektivet, Karin collaborates with senior PR consultants to enhance client services. Additionally, Karin is an accomplished author of the Smart PR series and co-authored a book on social media strategies for boards. Previous positions include interim communications management at Alight, where responsibilities centered on brand establishment and thought leadership in solar energy. Karin holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Södertörn University and has pursued further education in journalism and other communication disciplines. Recently, Karin participated as a public speaker discussing AI in PR at an industry event.
