Didier Derroitte has extensive work experience in project management and IT infrastructure. Didier started their career as an Intel System Engineer and Team Leader at IBM from 2000 to 2006. Didier then became a Service Manager, handling coordination and support activities for IBM's customer, INBEV. In 2007, they transitioned to become a Project Manager at IBM, managing various projects at different levels. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Project Management Consultant at Trasys, managing large IT infrastructure projects for the GDF-SUEZ group. From 2011 to 2015, they served as a Business Project Manager at Orange Business Services, responsible for delivering multinational projects. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Cloud Workplace and Identity Programmes at RTL Group, starting from January 2018.
Didier Derroitte attended the University of Liège from 1992 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications in project management. In April 2012, they became a certified PMI PMP through the Project Management Institute. In December 2014, they received the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Most recently, in October 2020, they achieved the Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, also from the Project Management Institute.
