Derek Tabor is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Senior Operations Engineer at RTI Surgical® since September 2021, Derek previously held multiple roles at Exactech from May 2010 to January 2020, including Senior Product Development Engineer and Product Development Engineer, leading cross-functional project teams to develop products through clinician feedback. Prior experience includes a position as Design Engineer at Scient'X USA from March 2006 to March 2010, where responsibilities involved designing and modeling implants and instruments while ensuring compliance with FDA and QS standards. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, completed in 2005, and attended Vanderbilt University in 2000-2001.
