Mathieu Fontaine possesses extensive experience in the electric utility sector, currently serving as Chef du pôle Accueil, Contrats et Données Clients and Responsable d’affaires expertise des lignes aériennes at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité since January 2010. Notably, Mathieu leads the Dynamic Line Rating project and specializes in the transit capacity of overhead electrical lines. Previous roles include Chargé d’études réseau, focusing on the development of the electricity network in the Grand Ouest region. Additionally, Mathieu has held positions in CIGRE France NGN as a Board Member and served as the French representative of Technical Advisory Group B2.04. Academic qualifications include a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from CentraleSupélec and an MSc in Power Systems Engineering from UCL.
