Jean VANHERSECKE possesses extensive experience in project management within the energy sector, currently serving as Responsable de projets de raccordement éolien offshore at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité since September 2003, focusing on the operational oversight of offshore wind project connections in France. Previously, Jean held various roles in project management and decision-making studies within the same company, as well as managing real-time network operations and training new personnel. Prior to joining RTE, Jean completed an internship as a conducteur de travaux at Bouygues Construction, where responsibilities included overseeing the construction of collective housing. Jean holds an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester and a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Engineering from Icam - Institut Catholique d'Arts et Métiers.
