Andrew Weatherall is a Principal Policy Officer specializing in Woodlands and Forestry at RSPB since June 2021. Prior to this role, Weatherall served as a Senior Lecturer in Forestry and Conservation Biology at the National School of Forestry, University of Cumbria, where responsibilities included leading the BSc (Hons) Woodland Ecology and Conservation program and teaching various modules on woodland ecology and conservation. Weatherall also held the position of Research Fellow in Forestry at the National School of Forestry, Newton Rigg, University of Central Lancashire from 2004 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Nutrient Cycling in Forests and a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry, both obtained from the University of Aberdeen.
