John Tisdall

Training Support, Website Support, Competency Assessment And Technical Author at RPG QAQC

John Tisdall is an experienced professional in the field of geological mudlogging and training, with a career spanning over four decades. Currently serving at RPG QAQC since May 2021, Tisdall's roles include training support, website maintenance, competency assessment, and technical authorship for WEC Programs and QAQC Wiki Sites. Prior to this, Tisdall worked at RPG as a Mentor from November 2010 to April 2021, where responsibilities included mentoring Well Engineers and editing the WikiWell. Tisdall's earlier experience includes a role as an Instructor at Halliburton from 2003 to 2010, where course development and competency assessment were key aspects, and extensive geological mudlogging work at Sperry Sun from 1980 to 2003, focusing on deep gas drilling in various international locations. Tisdall holds a BSc in Combined Science (Geology) from the University of Leicester, completed in 1978.
