Dr. Rachel Jacob serves as an Associate Professor at Royal Thimphu College since July 2024, after a distinguished career as Head of the Department of Journalism at Madras Christian College from November 2007 to October 2024. In this role, Dr. Jacob provided visionary leadership, managed departmental operations, and was deeply involved in curriculum development and student assessment. With a PhD in Journalism and Communication with a focus on Health Communication from the University of Madras, along with a Master's in Communication and Media Studies and a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature, Dr. Jacob possesses a strong academic foundation that supports a commitment to teaching, mentorship, and departmental governance.
