Shyam Sunder is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the insurance and technology sectors. Currently serving as COO and CIO at Royal Sundaram General Insurance Co. Limited since January 2016, Shyam also holds the position of CIO and Country Head of Operations and Customer Service. Shyam has played a pivotal role in various capacities at Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Co Ltd, starting as CIO from January 2010 to December 2013 and later as CIO & Head of Operations since January 2014. Earlier career milestones include serving as Head of Technology at Royal Sundaram from September 2004 to December 2009, and holding significant leadership roles as AVP at OrbiTech and Citibank, as well as Vice President at Polaris Software Labs between 2001 and 2004.
