Subrato Banerjee is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of economics and statistical sciences, currently serving as Associate Editor for Humanities & Social Sciences Communications since May 2024. As a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and a member of the Asian Regional Standing Committee of The Econometric Society, Subrato Banerjee also chaired the Asian Meeting at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. In addition, Subrato Banerjee is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, a Behavioral Scientist and BEST Fellow at the BEST Centre, and a Mathematician for the Indian Mathematics Consortium. Subrato Banerjee has been writing as a Columnist for Financial Express since February 2011. With a background that includes policy contributions as a member of the Royal Economic Society and the American Statistical Association, Subrato Banerjee has garnered extensive experience in economic research and education, supported by degrees in economics from Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University.
