Derek Hooper is an accomplished golf instructor with extensive experience in managing and delivering golf instructional programs. Currently serving as the Director of Instruction at Royal Oaks Country Club in Houston, TX, Derek oversees all instructional programs, staff training, and financial reporting since June 2016. Derek also runs Derek Hooper Golf since March 2005 and previously held the Director of Instruction position at Lake of Isles from March 2005 to June 2016, where responsibilities included day-to-day teaching operations, staff training, and department financials. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Instruction at the David Duval Golf Academy at Phoenix Seagia Resort in Japan from March 2003 to November 2004. Educational qualifications include PGA Class A membership from the PGA of America and the PGA of Australia, along with a BHMS(Ed) in Physical Education and Sports Sciences from The University of Queensland.
