Joost Jan Oosterhuis has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Joost Jan started their career as an Architectural Engineer at Royal Haskoning in 2002 before moving on to Döll - Atelier voor Bouwkunst as an Architectural Engineer and Project Manager. At Döll - Atelier voor Bouwkunst, they were responsible for various residential and utility projects. In 2009, they joined Heinen + Partners as a Construction Manager and Project Manager, where they supervised site construction, managed projects, and was a member of the management team. In 2014, Oosterhuis returned to Royal HaskoningDHV as a Senior Project Manager and Project Director, leading multiple projects until they became an Associate Director of Project Management. During this time, they also served as the Head of Project Management and Associate Director for Industry & Buildings in Vietnam. Additionally, they served as a Board Member of the Dutch Business Association Vietnam from 2016 to 2017.
Joost Jan Oosterhuis completed their education with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology from HZ University of Applied Sciences in 2002. Prior to that, they attended a Vocational Technical School from 1995 to 1999, specializing in Building Technology. Later, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Business Engineering at Transfergroup Rotterdam from 2008 to 2010.
