Matt Mumfrey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matt is currently employed at Royal Engineers & Consultants, L.L.C. as a Senior Vice President since June 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Program Manager at the same company from March 2021 to June 2023.

Before joining Royal Engineers & Consultants, L.L.C., Matt held the position of Attorney and Program Manager at the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana from November 2013 to March 2021. Matt also worked as an Attorney at Tracey & Fox from February 2009 to November 2013.

Additionally, Matt served as an Attorney at Law Offices of J. Robert Davis from September 2008 to February 2009, and at McGlinchey Stafford from August 2004 to September 2008.

Their early experience includes working as a Judicial Law Clerk to Chief Judge Richard T. Haik, Sr. at the United States District Court, Western District of Louisiana from August 2003 to August 2004.

Matt Mumfrey attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Prior to that, they studied at Loyola University New Orleans from 1997 to 2000, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics. In 1996, they briefly attended Louisiana State University, although it is unclear if they earned a degree or pursued a specific field of study during that time.
