Tim Sparrow is an experienced veterinary professional currently serving as Chief of Surgery at Veterinary Specialists Ireland since January 2024. Tim holds dual recognitions as an EBVS® Specialist in Small Animal Surgery and RCVS Recognised Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, actively contributing to the field since April 2022. With a background in small animal orthopaedics, Tim has held significant roles including Head of Orthopaedics and Clinical Director at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists from August 2016 to January 2024. Additionally, Tim is a visiting lecturer at the University of Surrey and has extensive surgical training history with positions at Fitzpatrick Referrals Ltd and the University of Liverpool. Tim's education includes a BVM&S in Veterinary Medicine from The University of Edinburgh and a BSc(Hons) in Marine Biology from the University of Stirling.
