Elizabeth Vaughan is a Consultant Emergency General Surgeon at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust since August 2019, with primary interests in Colorectal and Trauma Surgery. Elizabeth also serves as an Instructor for the Definitive Surgical Trauma Skills program through The Royal College of Surgeons of England since July 2021. Leadership experience includes serving as President and Vice President of the ASGBI Moynihan Academy from December 2020 to February 2023. Educational accomplishments include a Distinction in MSc Trauma Sciences from Queen Mary University of London and multiple surgical qualifications, including MRCS and FRCSEd in General Surgery. Elizabeth Vaughan completed an MBChB in Medicine at The University of Sheffield and holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Science from Dublin Institute of Technology.
