Athena Varmazis is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Since March 2015, Athena has served as Senior Vice President of Credit Cards, overseeing Consumer, Small Business, and Commercial divisions at RBC. Prior to this role, Athena held significant leadership positions at American Express Canada from January 2012 to March 2015, including Vice President and General Manager of Small Business Services. Additionally, Athena contributed to Amex Bank of Canada from 1997 to 2011 as Director of Strategic Partnerships and Demand Generation. Athena holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
