Nigel Wilson has over 15 years of experience in senior HR roles in various sectors, including private, public, and not-for-profit. Nigel is currently the Director of People and Culture at the Royal Albert Hall, where they have been since 2019. Prior to that, they held positions such as Senior HR Manager at Wandle, Head of HR at The Electoral Commission, and Senior HR Business Partner at The Children's Society. Nigel has a proven track record of successfully leading HR functions, supporting organizational change, and implementing strategic HR solutions.
Nigel Wilson has a diverse education history. In 1991, they obtained a 2:1 degree in English and History from Middlesex University. In 2008, they earned an MSc in Human Resource Management from London South Bank University. Nigel also has obtained qualifications in Occupational, Ability and Personality Testing from the British Psychological Society in 2016. Additionally, they have pursued certifications in various areas, including Hogan Assessment Certification, Mental Health First Aider, Strengthscope Master, and Chartered Fellow status from the CIPD. Nigel is also a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. Nigel continues to enhance their knowledge in the field of Human Resources Management through CIPD Qualifications and Business Administration and Management from the Chartered Management Institute.
