Brown started their career as a Technical Support CSR at VoIPnet Technologies in January 2011. The company merged with IT Partners to form Unified Technologies, Inc. later that month and they were promoted to NOC Manager in February 2012. Brad was then promoted to Tier 2 NOC Engineer in August 2012 when the team was restructured. In October 2012, they were again promoted to Tier 3 Senior Support Engineer. Unified Technologies, Inc. was acquired by DSCI in November 2014 and they were realigned to Tier 2 Technical Support Specialist. In July 2016, they were promoted to Tier 3 level MSP Engineer. DSCI was acquired by TelePacific Communications in November 2016 and the department and title were rebranded to ITx Support Engineer by TelePacific Communications in April 2017. TelePacific Communications rebranded as TPx Communications in March 2017 and they were promoted to Supervisor, ITx Support in June 2017. The ITx branding was changed to MSx by TPx Communications and they were promoted to Manager, MSx Support in March 2018.
During their time with TPx Communications, Brad developed a knowledgebase that continues to have the most articles of any department. Brad also developed staff onboarding training plan and continued personal development certification path based on job description. Brad also integrated MSP support center with other support centers brought in by each acquisition and merger, documenting each group, what they support, and their individual rules of engagement.
