Sonja Bruins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director at WOMAN Invest since July 2012, Bruins focuses on providing investment opportunities to sustainable businesses. As a Board Member of Finance for the TAUW Foundation since January 2022, Bruins supports initiatives aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Additional contributions include serving on the supervisory board of Lowys Porquinstichting since April 2021, engaging in academic roles at Hogeschool Rotterdam, and acting as a Business Coach at YES!Delft. Bruins has also provided advisory input to Vereniging Achmea and previously to Woonfonds and TEDxRotterdam, while having a teaching background at Hogeschool Tio. Educational qualifications include a master's degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam and studies at Nyenrode Business University.
