Steven Jansen is a seasoned professional in security and safety operations, currently serving as the Manager of Security & Safety Operations at Rotterdam The Hague Airport since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Royal Schiphol Group, where Steven worked as a Senior Contractmanager Security overseeing a contract portfolio valued at approximately 350 million euros, as well as other positions such as Contractmanager Security and Airport Security Manager, focusing on optimizing security processes and managing stakeholder relationships. Earlier work experience includes a Master Thesis Student position at the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, DG Aviation, and a Call Center Agent role at Unive Verzekeringen. Steven holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Organization and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Groningen.
