Don Locke started their work experience in 1986 at Knudsen Engineering Limited, where they worked as an Electro/Mechanical Design engineer until 1990. Don then moved on to Guildline Instruments Ltd, where they worked as an Electro-mechanical Designer from 1990 to 2000. Finally, Locke joined Ross Video in 2000 and held the position of Sr. Mechanical/Industrial Designer.

From 1983 to 1985, Don Locke attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. During this time, they pursued a field of study in electronic engineering technician. No degree name was specified, so it can be assumed that Don did not graduate from the program.
