Zaid Mahayni is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as Senior Legal Director at ROSHN since June 2022, where Zaid received the 2023 Roshn Way Award for Responsibility. Prior positions include Group Chief Legal Officer at SEDCO Holding, overseeing legal and compliance functions, and practicing as a Lawyer and Legal Consultant at the Law Firm of Hassan Mahassni. Zaid has also contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor at Dar Al-Hekma University, specializing in International Trade and Investment Law. Zaid holds a PhD in Law from the University of Leicester and multiple advanced legal degrees, including a Master of Laws in Petroleum Law and Policy from the University of Dundee and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from Queen Mary University of London.
