Omar Sayed has worked in the field of AI and Machine Learning since 2017. Omar began their career as a Computer Vision Engineer at infraLayer | HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING, where they worked on a glasses virtual-try-on system. In 2018, they joined the Egyptian Armed Forces as a Private. In 2019, they returned to infraLayer | HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING as a Computer Vision Engineer, where they worked on a glasses virtual-try-on system V2. That same year, they also worked as a Computer Vision Engineer at Hansa Robotics GmbH, where they optimized and quantized models to fit edge devices' performance. In 2020, they joined precision.ai as a Machine Learning Engineer (Computer Vision), where they led a small team responsible for model optimization and end-to-end models pipeline development. In 2021, they worked as a Computer Vision Engineer at Silverbullet. Currently, they are working as a Machin Learning Engineer (Computer Vision) at Precision AI, as well as a Senior AI Engineer at Rosalyn.ai, where they are working closely with a cross-functional team to translate product requirements into AI/ML models and architectures. Omar is also maintaining distributed systems for real-time analysis, and enhancing and optimizing current working AI systems with end-to-end responsibility, including design, code implementation, training, testing, and deployment. Additionally, they are working as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Natural Language Processing) at Botit, where they are enhancing existing NER Models for AR and EN languages, reflecting the model analysis process report on the data generation process, and updating label schema for the training data.

Omar Sayed attained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ain Shams University between 2013 and 2017. Omar also obtained several certifications from Coursera, including Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Mathematics for Machine Learning: Multivariate Calculus, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Sequence Models, and Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow between 2019 and 2020. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Computational Lingustics from Helwan University Cairo.
