Laura Shemilt is the Head of Research Software Engineering at the Rosalind Franklin Institute, leading a team to tackle Big Data and Scientific Software challenges. Previously, Laura worked as a Senior Data Scientist at The LEGO Group, Centrica, and British Gas Business, utilizing data analysis for product development and business solutions. Laura also has experience in research and development in imaging techniques and holds a PhD in X-ray Physics from UCL.
