Patrick B. Ropella has over 30 years of experience in executive search and recruiting. In 1987, they started their career at Management Recruiters International, where they won Rookie of the Year in their first year and ranked first among six recruiters in 1989. Patrick B. then joined Cook Associates in 1989 as the Manager of the Chemical Division, where they successfully built the division from scratch, making it the second highest-producing division in the company within two years. In 1991, they founded The Ropella Group, a globally-leading executive search firm known for its SMART Search System® and ability to help companies establish transformational leadership. Most recently, in 2020, they founded Ropella Equity Ventures and serves as the Founder and CEO.

Patrick B. Ropella obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they attended from 1981 to 1987. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in Scaling Up - Crisis Edition from Growth Institute in August 2020, and Hogan Certification from Hogan Assessments in April 2019.
