Nikia Sterling has extensive experience in the healthcare field, currently serving as a Lab Assistant II at Kaiser Permanente since July 2019 and as a Phlebotomist at Roots Community Health Center since August 2017. Previously, Nikia held roles as an Ocular Technician at TBI Tissue Bank International and as a Laboratory Associate II at Berkleley Heart Lab. Additional experience includes positions as a Phlebotomy Service Representative at Laboratory Corporation of America and Quest Diagnostics, a Medical Assistant at BAART Drug Addiction Treatment and Research Rehabilitation Clinic, and a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist at Aventis Bio-Center. Nikia obtained a Medical/Clinical Assistant certification from Bryman College and holds an AA in Social Science with a focus on Sociology from Laney College, along with a diploma in General Studies from Berkeley High School.
