Javier Diaz is an Advisor at Rootine. Javier previously worked as Sr. Fixed Equipment Engineer at LyondellBasell from December 2016 to April 2017, where they developed fixed equipment strategies to optimize the analysis, repair and replacement interval for pressure vessels, piping systems, and storage tanks through fitness for service programs and improved equipment design. Javier also worked as Field Construction Engineer at SAMREF Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Company Ltd. from September 2012 to August 2013, where they were assigned to Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery to support construction of the SAMREF Clean Fuels Project. Javier has a passion for developing early and mid-career professionals and Construction Contractor personnel, and they are known for their work in promoting quality and capital efficiency on Capital Projects.

Javier Diaz has a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
