John Shaver is an experienced software engineer and technical lead currently at Lightcast since January 2019, where significant contributions include building and successfully releasing a new product MVP. As a co-founder of ppl :), John focuses on developing affordable plug-and-play family servers to empower individuals in digital ownership. Prior experience includes freelance software development at J&E Solutions, where John assisted clients with web applications and deployment processes, as well as roles at mCubed Labs, Symantec, Bluehost.com, and Teleperformance, covering technical support and software development tasks. John holds education from Utah Valley University, Tyee High School, and the SeaTac Occupational Skills Center.
