Scot West has a diverse work experience, beginning in 1992 as the General Manager at Sunsail where they worked until 1999. Scot then joined Sail America as the Executive Director from 1999 to 2005. Scot's most recent role was at Ronstan International, where they held the position of President from 2005 to 2016 before becoming the Managing Director.

Scot West obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Marketing from the University of Rhode Island, graduating in 1991.
