Arvind Menon has over 10 years of experience in the energy industry. Arvind began their career in 2010 as a Combustion Aerothermal Engineer at GE Power & Water. In 2015, they joined GE Power as a Senior Sales Application Engineer, where they developed and implemented technical strategies for bidding high efficiency utility scale Combined Cycle Power Plant projects in the Asia Pacific region. Arvind also served as Lead Engineer, leading a team of researchers and programmers for developing a time-series data store infrastructure for managing test and fleet data for the global GE gas turbine fleet. In 2018, they moved to GE Renewable Energy as a Senior Customer Application Engineer and Senior Wind Turbine Systems Engineer, where they optimized wind turbine designs for economics and performance and conducted site suitability analysis for on-shore wind farm projects in the North American renewable energy market. Arvind also implemented new engineering processes and tools for wind turbine simulations and data management, and developed a new analytical framework for aggregating simulation results. Currently, Arvind Menon is a Customer Application Manager at Rondo Energy.
Arvind Menon completed their Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University between 2003 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kerala between 1998 and 2002.
