Roman Surikov has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Roman started their career in 2002 as a Linux System Administrator at ATS VoIP Service Provider, where they were responsible for server hardware and software maintenance and capacity planning. In 2004, Roman joined ISS Art LLC as a Backend Software Engineer, where they conducted analysis of website and application requirements, developed efficient PHP modules, and built back-end portals with optimized databases. In 2007, they became the CEO of Ronas IT, an IT company specializing in app design, development, and maintenance.

Roman Surikov completed their high school education from Omsk State Lyceum â„–64 from 1997 to 2000, focusing on advanced study of maths, physics, and computers. Roman then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Omsk State Technical University from 2000 to 2004. In the same institution, they obtained a diploma in English in IT from 2001 to 2004. Later, Roman completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from Omsk State Technical University from 2004 to 2006. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in Project Management Institute Membership from the Project Management Institute in 2020, and Digital Transformation from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2019.
