Rita Cyr is an experienced executive in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton since July 2002. Prior to this role, Rita held the position of Associate Director at YWCA of Dayton from 1996 to 2002 and at YMCA Dayton Metro from 1990 to 1996. Additionally, Rita served as Volunteer Administrator for Camp Happy Day and Special Times, an organization dedicated to children diagnosed with cancer, from 1989 to 1990. Rita began their career in education as a Teacher at Ohio University Early Childhood Center from 1987 to 1988. Rita holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Health & Human Services from Ohio University, earned between 1983 and 1987, and is an alumnus of Nordonia High School, graduating in 1983.
