Dacian Tomus is a Principal Lead Engineer at Romar Engineering Pty Ltd since January 2024, with a rich background in engineering and research. Prior to this role, Dacian worked at Amaero International Ltd from December 2016 to November 2023 in various capacities including Engineering, Research and Development Manager, Manager of Digital Manufacturing, and Additive Manufacturing Engineer. Dacian's earlier experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at Monash University, focusing on Selective Laser Melting with nickel super alloys and titanium based powders, as well as a Research Fellow at Toyohashi University of Technology, where expertise in advanced experimental techniques was developed. Dacian holds a Doctor of Engineering degree in Materials Engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology and has educational background from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
